Kayla and Josh’s Las Vegas elopement was definitely one for the books. We had the best time with them during their Little White Wedding Chapel elopement, followed by their downtown Vegas bridal portraits. Kayla and Josh are the type of couple who bring really good vibes! They were down for any prompts and poses I threw at them and really took the time to be present with one another.
Like many of the Las Vegas elopements I capture, Kayla and Josh’s was shot on a mix of digital and film, with the help of my film sidekick and husband, Nick of Analog Elopements.
Kayla & Josh’s Little White Wedding Chapel Elopement With a Pink Cadillac Ceremony
The day started at The Little White Wedding Chapel. We took portraits in front of the iconic sign, then made our way to The Pink Cadillac in The Tunnel of Love for the ceremony. Pink Cadillac Ceremonies at LWC are popular for the fun Vegas experience. It also makes the perfect backdrop for both the ceremony and portraits.
These two were bursting with excitement about getting married and really soaked up their time together saying ‘I do.’ They truly were such a sweet couple, so in love, and just took every moment in as it came, which made them so giddy and smiley. It was such a sweet ceremony! I also have to say that I loved their looks. Kayla’s hair was styled by The Bellagio Spa. She wore such a cute short white dress with sheer sleeves and strappy heels, and Josh wore a tan colored suit that perfectly complemented her look.
Kayla & Josh’s Downtown Las Vegas Elopement Bridals
During our two hours together, we experienced two very unexpected moments. Once we started exploring downtown, we happened to be right by the praying mantis outside of Container Park when it went off, shooting flames. It syncs with the music that is playing inside the park – it was such a fun moment to capture, and Kayla and Josh took the opportunity to boogey-it-out on the street.
Ironically, a group of bicycle riders riding through downtown photobombed a few photos (with good intention). Downtown Las Vegas is a popular option for couples after their chapel ceremonies, offering vintage vibes, murals, art, bars, restaurants, and tons of local businesses.
Kayla and Josh had told me that they wanted their photos to feel romantic and fun, while capturing the excitement and buzz of Las Vegas. I think we nailed this with their romantic Little White Wedding Chapel elopement and fun exploring downtown.
