If you’ve ever daydreamed about running off to Vegas with your best friend and getting married under a glowing heart in a room full of velvet and vintage magic, this is your sign. Hannah and Pete’s vintage Sure Thing Chapel elopement was the kind of wildly fun, deeply personal celebration that makes you believe in fate, friendship, and the power of a little glitter (okay, a lot). This wasn’t just a wedding, it was a love-soaked adventure with disco lights, slot machines, ribbon wands, and a touch of cheeky chaos, and it was so them in every single way. Let’s rewind to the beginning because their story is already cinematic…

From Cruise Ship Wake-Up Calls to Wedding Bells
Hannah and Pete’s love story started on the high seas (literally!). These two were coworkers and besties for four years while working on cruise ships together, Pete was her manager in the art gallery (aka the poor guy who had to call her cabin to wake her up when she overslept lol), and Hannah, being the queen she is, would make it up to him with cappuccinos. Over time, friendship turned into something more, and once it did, everything just clicked. They had only officially been together for a little over a year when they tied the knot but the foundation was rock solid. And in true nontraditional, power-couple fashion, they actually booked the wedding before Pete officially proposed (at home, intimate and sweet). They just knew!

Why a Vintage Sure Thing Chapel Elopement Was So Them
Hannah and Pete didn’t resonate with a traditional church wedding. The modern wedding industry? Too expensive, too stressful, too not-their-style. Vegas? Oh, Vegas had the vibe. Retro beauty, wild memories, and a chance to give their people a once-in-a-lifetime experience! YES! Pete had always sworn he’d never get married… unless it was in Vegas. So this was fate and fulfillment wrapped in one glittery bow. And the Sure Thing Chapel was perfect. Think pink velvet drapes, glowing heart lights, a cheeky pink-tiled bathroom complete with an Elvis portrait, and the coolest vintage photo booth this side of the Strip. It was playful, nostalgic, romantic, and so full of personality, exactly like Hannah and Pete!

The Ceremony: Velvet Hearts & Happy Tears
From the moment Hannah walked in with her tulle-trimmed mini dress and cathedral-length veil (can you even?!), every guest was already tearing up or cheering. Pete looked dapper as ever in a sage green suit and white sneakers, flashing the proudest, goofiest grin while waiting under the glowing heart. The vibes were so intimate and joyful, with a room full of friends and family who flew out for the occasion, a true ride-or-die crew. They exchanged vows, rings, and glances, with the pink heart light pulsing behind them like a rom-com finale. It was short, sweet, emotional, and full of laughter, the kind of ceremony that makes you wanna say “I do” in Vegas, like, tomorrow!

Post-Ceremony Shenanigans: Elvis Bathrooms, Disco Balls, and Fremont Feels
After the “you may now kiss” moment, we turned the fun all the way up. First stop? The iconic turquoise-tiled Elvis bathroom for the most absurdly fun newlywed portraits. Hannah made the Elvis bathroom her runway, striking a pose in full bridal glam, she looked stunning! Pete posed like a rockstar, and the whole thing was giving campy perfection. We twirled around the disco-lit chapel space, snuck into the retro photo booth for some steamy black-and-whites, and then made our way out under a cloud of ribbon wands and cheers from their guests. Literal main character energy!

Lucky Motel & Neon Dreams on Fremont
As the sun dipped, we made our way to the Lucky Motel for some vintage roadside portraits that felt straight out of a Tarantino film (but like, in the most romantic way). Hannah sat on the back of a classic black convertible, her veil trailing dramatically behind her, bouquet in hand, and Pete by her side, cool as ever. Every shot was giving retro Vegas lovers with a side of cinematic flair. Then it was time to take on Fremont Street. The lights! The chaos! The champagne under the “GAMBLING” sign! They popped bottles, kissed under neon signs, and even hit up the slot machines together like two kids in love with pockets full of quarters. It was vintage, it was electric, and it was unapologetically them!
