A Beautiful Wedding at The Venetian Las Vegas | Amanda & Doug

Portrait of the newly married couple smiling at each other

Amanda and Doug told me that getting married in Las Vegas genuinely started as a bit between the two of them. After being together for more than eight years, they knew they wanted a wedding that felt fun, memorable, and true to who they are. Their beautiful wedding at The Venetian ended up being exactly that. A day filled with family, great architecture, a little adventure, and plenty of moments that felt uniquely them!

A Beautiful Wedding at The Venetian

Amanda and Doug wanted the wedding itself to feel classic and timeless, and The Venetian was the perfect place for that vision. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they exchanged vows in a beautiful ceremony space filled with elegant details and natural light. It felt intimate, meaningful, and like the perfect reflection of their relationship.

One of the things I love most about weddings at The Venetian is how many incredible photo locations are built right into the property. From the grand hallways and beautiful interiors to the stunning courtyard, there are endless opportunities for portraits. If you’re considering getting married here. It’s also worth noting that The Venetian does charge an outside vendor fee. For photographers and vendors not affiliated with the venue. So that’s something to keep in mind during the planning process!

From The Venetian to Downtown Las Vegas

After portraits around The Venetian, we headed downtown for a completely different vibe. While the first part of the day felt elegant and traditional. Amanda and Doug wanted their portraits around Fremont Street to feel fun, relaxed, and a little playful. Honestly, it was the perfect combination. One minute we were photographing them beneath beautiful architecture and chandeliers. And the next we were wandering Fremont Street, stopping beneath vintage Vegas signs, throwing on heart-shaped sunglasses, and grabbing pizza. It felt less like a formal portrait session and more like two best friends having the time of their lives on their wedding day.

Why This Day Felt So Much Like Them

My favorite thing about Amanda and Doug’s wedding wasn’t necessarily the venue or even the locations. It was how intentional they were about creating a day that reflected who they are. They wanted an experience they could share with the people they love most. And every part of the day felt centered around that goal.

To make the day even more memorable, we got a little drizzle while we were downtown. In Las Vegas, rain on your wedding day is considered good luck. And it honestly felt fitting for a couple who embraced every part of the adventure. Between the classic atmosphere of The Venetian, the energy of Fremont Street, and being surrounded by their favorite people. Amanda and Doug created a wedding day that was fun, meaningful, and completely their own.
