Michaela and Landson’s elopement at the Golden Nugget was such a fun mix of classic Vegas, a little bit of glam, and plenty of time to actually enjoy the day. They started at the Golden Nugget, headed out around Downtown Las Vegas for photos, and then made their way to the Little White Chapel for an Elvis ceremony with their people. Nothing about their day felt overly rushed. We had time to play around with different photo ideas, used so many parts of the hotel, and still fit in those classic Fremont and chapel moments that immediately feel like Vegas.

Starting Their Elopement at the Golden Nugget
One of my favorite things about starting at the Golden Nugget was simply having space. Their suite had tons of natural light, a bar area, and this incredible curved staircase that Michaela specifically wanted to use for photos. And obviously, we were going to make that happen. Her short lace wedding dress, platform heels, and long veil were so good against the more polished interiors of the hotel, especially paired with Landon’s classic black suit!!
Because we gave ourselves plenty of time here, we didn’t have to grab a few photos and immediately move on. We could slow down, try different things, and let Michaela and Landson settle into being in front of the camera together. It was amazing. Some of my favorite photos ended up being the ones on the staircase because they feel a little editorial without losing their personality. If you’re planning an elopement at the Golden Nugget, having that extra time before heading out is something I definitely recommend!

From the Golden Nugget to Fremont Without Wasting Half the Day
The other huge perk of the Golden Nugget is the location – you’re already on Fremont Street! It’s incredibly easy to step outside and immediately have a completely different look for your photos. We went from the bright, polished hotel suite to brick walls, vintage Vegas signs, casino floors, and all the personality of Downtown without spending a ton of the day driving from one location to another.
This is also where Michaela and Landson’s photos got a little more playful. We photographed them around Fremont, popped into the casino for some classic slot machine photos, and just let the surroundings give us ideas as we went. You could easily do this portion before or after your ceremony depending on your timeline. That’s what I love about an elopement at the Golden Nugget, you can get so much variety within one small area and still have time to actually enjoy yourself.

A Little White Chapel Ceremony With Elvis
From Downtown, Michaela and Landson headed to the Little White Chapel for their ceremony, and yes, Elvis was there. Their guests gathered around while they exchanged vows, laughed their way through the ceremony, and fully leaned into the kind of Vegas wedding experience they wanted. Afterward, they popped champagne outside beneath the Little White Chapel sign, which felt like the only appropriate way to wrap up that part of the day.
And the celebration definitely didn’t stop at the chapel. Michaela and Landson spent time partying with their friends and family afterwards, drinks in hand and everyone packed together having a genuinely good time. Their whole day is such a good example of how a Las Vegas elopement can still feel like a full wedding experience. You can have the fun hotel photos, Downtown Vegas, an Elvis ceremony, and your favorite people there to celebrate without turning the day into a complicated production.
