A Rainy Las Vegas Elopement at Little White Chapel

Bride and groom, hugging during their photoshoot

Some wedding days are sunshine and timelines and everything going exactly as planned! And then there are days like Zoe & Gary’s rainy Las Vegas elopement, where the plan basically gets laughed at by the weather. And, it was incredible!! What was supposed to be a desert day quickly turned into nonstop rain, and instead of stressing about it, these two just… rolled with it! Truly zero panic. Umbrellas came out, shoes got wet, and they decided pretty early on that if it was going to pour, they were going to fully embrace it. Honestly? That mindset set the tone for the entire day and made it way more fun than anything we could’ve planned!

Rainy Las Vegas Elopement at Little White Chapel

Zoe + Gary got married at Little White Chapel, and the rain honestly made it feel even more intimate inside. It was cozy, simple, and exactly what they needed after being together for fourteen years (yes, fourteen). So, this ceremony felt less like a big production and more like a “finally, this is our moment” kind of thing! Even their ring story fits that energy. Zoe’s ring was inspired by her grandmother’s engagement ring, they chose the sapphire together, and Gary handled the final design. Nothing rushed, nothing flashy, just very them.

Embracing the Rain on Fremont Street

After the ceremony, we pivoted downtown since the desert plans were officially canceled thanks to the storm. At first, we lucked out and grabbed a few photos before the rain really started coming down, but that didn’t last long. Midway through, it turned into a full-on downpour, and Zoe & Gary didn’t even hesitate! It was an immediate “whatever, let’s do this” moment. Laughing through it, walking around Fremont with neon reflecting off the wet pavement, it ended up being such a vibe. This rainy Las Vegas elopement wasn’t about perfect conditions or staying dry, it was about leaning into the chaos and trusting the moment. And honestly, those are always the sessions that end up being the most fun!
